Creating Keepsakes Convention

Mom, Steph, and I had so much fun on our get-a-way to the CK convention. My shopping day was on Friday, I had one afternoon class called 4 in 1 paper motion. What a cool class, we learned how to make slider pages, ribbon cables, pop up windows, and an attached 6 page pop out album from the page. We stayed at the Holiday Inn attached to the Kansas City Expo Center. That was very convenient to walk back and forth for supplies and such, or when our arms got full from all of our shopping. I think we all picked up some great ideas for page lay-outs and gifts and wall decor. We were all like kids in candy shops. My sister is right we should do this annually. May be next year our sisters Jayna and Diane can join us. Our other sister Stacey doesn't scrap or stamp--I know shame on her-- so I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have much fun.

My time off work has ended. The month has gone by quickly. I really did miss working, however, I think I enjoyed my time off more. I think nearly every day was filled with some form of scrapbooking. I'm already suffering from withdrawals. How am I going to continue to scrap daily with working 12 hour shifts??? I'm sure I will figure something out.
I will be going to the Creating Keepsakes convention in Kansas in October, hope to see some of you bloggers there. I can't wait to find new things and techniques there. Let me know if any of you are going and what classes you might be taking.

This was my very first craftshow showcasing my "scraps". It turned out pretty well. I received all sorts of outstanding compliments on all my "stuff". My creative juices have been flowing wonderfully these past few weeks, I only hope I can keep it up the next month or so for the rest of the shows I've booked. Wish me luck!!!

So kind, using the Priceless SU stamp set, thank goodness I have connections with Stampin' Up. I just love their products.
